We've modified the original BSK design to work on a Journal, and as you can see, this is the Travel Journal you brought on your Baby Seal Killing adventure! The journal is Wire-O bound, has 160 blank (unlined) pages, and measures 5" x 8". Use it to record anything you can think of, after you pick it up at our shop.

BSK Hat - Intersecting Inversion graphics

The new Baby Seal Killing design for the hat required the cleaned up/restored versions of the original layers to re-intersect. At the time of the original design, this was done by hand by our graphical designer. Without the use of a computer.

It took a while to figure out how Adobe Photoshop 7 (PC) could do it, and the results are below. If you'd like to know how, keep reading.

1. Ensure all your transparency is correct, and this probably only works for 2 color designs (ignoring the red for now).
2. Create a layer on top of the two design layers. Fill with white.
3. Select the first design layer. Load Selection. New Selection (don't invert)
4. Select the second design layer. Load Selection. Intersect with Selection (don't invert)
5. Select the filled layer. Add Layer Mark. Reveal Selection.

Cool, huh?

Started splitting our Cafepress shop

The limitations of the basic Cafepress shops were constricting your product line choices. So, we've split our current shop in two, with the main Black Dot Sportswear Shop featuring only logo wear, and the Baby Seal Killing shop featuring that design.

To make navigation easier, we've included both links, plus a consolidated link in the description field of each shop.

More image cleaning

For the Baby Seal Killing design Hat and others, I needed a "clean" "Killing" so I had to reconstruct the bottom that had previously been overlapping the "and all I got was" box.

More Apparel variations

Decided on making a Baby Seal Killing "matching" Splatter design, for mugs and hats, and possible other items.

Image Editing and Clean-up

I fixed a couple errors in the original Baby Seal Killing graphic design, and made a couple improvements. Spent a bunch of time in Photoshop: layering, coloring, masking, sizing, and otherwise tweaking.

Notice the correction of the inversion at the bottom of the "I", and now the lower left of the "G" actually looks like a "G".
